Panichelli's Passion for History
Joaquín Panichelli, forward for the Argentina national team and Racing de Estrasburgo, opened up about his academic aspirations during a live stream on his Panichelli09 channel. The player expressed his desire to become a history teacher. At 23 years old, he said: 'I would love to be a history teacher... More than just practicing it, I like the process, studying it, everything. All of that would make me happy'.
His Relationship and Injury
The footballer also shared details about his relationship with Giuliana Giramonti, whom he introduced during a live stream. Panichelli revealed: 'We've been together for seven years. At first, she didn't pay attention to me, and I didn't push it. Later, we danced a chacarera on the anniversary of San Martín's death, and when she showed up, I did too... I had some luck because I could have ended up with someone else'.
The injury that Panichelli suffered in March during an Argentina training session was a great sadness for him. The player recounted: 'It happened before the match against Mauritania in a simple play. Afterward, in the first few days, I would cry and wonder why this had happened to me'. The injury kept him out of the World Cup.
Team Support During Recovery
Panichelli highlighted the support from his teammates during his recovery period. 'When training ended, everyone went to the infirmary', he remembered. 'Everyone came in. From Leo (Messi) to Rodrigo (De Paul), Otamendi, Tagliafico, Enzo (Fernández), and Colo (Barco), all of them. The next day, when I arrived at training and crossed paths with the boys, it was a bit embarrassing because I couldn't lift my head up from crying. I couldn't even talk. It was so embarrassing that they had to come in and see me there crying on the floor'.
The forward thanked his teammates for their support during his recovery period, which was very motivating for him in those first days.
